Dry
Screening
What
is Dry Screening?
Dry Screening is the separation of material
into 2 - 6 different sized products. The material is separated
by passing it through a vibrating 'screen box' which has a number
of different sized screens, or meshes, which the material falls
through like a sieve. The material falls onto attached conveyors
which stockpile the end products. The end products can then
be used in the building and construction industries. Powerscreen
equipment is either track or wheel mounted to make them mobile.
This means the Powerscreen equipment can move to the raw material
rather than the expensive movement of the material to the screen.
This has been the key to the success of Powerscreen equipment
for more than 40 years. A number of Dry Screening product ranges
are available, from small and compact equipment right up to
heavy-duty, high output machines. All Powerscreen equipment
is built to have a long active life and for easy maintenance.
